This particular hotel is not a fancy resort by any means. It is a very basic, non-extravagant place to stay. It is inexpensive, but as the saying goes, you will get what you pay for. The biggest issue I had there was with the poor quality of the mattresses on the beds. I kept thinking that if they would only replace and upgrade their mattresses/bedding it would be such a major improvement overall to the whole place. However, the location on the south end of the Strip is central to so much ( on the bus lines, next to MGM Grand and Planet Hollywood Hotel and Miracle Mile Mall, across the street from Monte Carlo and New York, New York). Plus, there was a small self-controlled safe in my room that I found comfort in securing my money/valuables. The continental breakfast is simple, but it is okay. Those three things were the best part of the hotel for me. I didn't drive in Vegas, but there is a convienent parking lot and the outdoor swimming pool looked simple yet nice, though it was winter time so no swimming. So, it was not the most horrible experience to stay there. But, as stated earlier, I did get what I paid for. I do recommend staying on the top, third floor and keeping the wall air conditioner/heater/fan on at night to drown out street and other room noises.

I stayed here back in June of 2007. The pool was dirty everyday and you had to call to remind them to change the sheeting if you slept in after 10:00 in the morning. The air condtioning only worked on low speed which made the room even more uncomfortable. And the noise at niight would truly make it hard to sleep even if you where hungover from the night before. You could also here thru the walls people conversations which where very unpleasant to say the least. Like one review said on this place don't be fooled by the picture of the place.

This hotel was the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed at! The room was absolutely filthy. There was Chocolate? Feces? Not quite sure, splattered on the walls. There was a large hoop earring in the bed which makes me wonder if they bother to change the sheets at all. The bath faucet was constently running, and the curtain looked like it hadn't been changed (or cleaned) since the early '80's. The cleanest thing in the entire room was the toilet, and that is by no means a compliment. We had the room next to the elivator and next to the employee offices. We heard people partying all night and in the morning the maids having menial conversations over their walkie-talkies. I would not pay a penny to stay here. Horrible experience! Spend a little extra and go somewhere else.

Location, location, location. If you want an inexpensive, no-frills hotel on the strip, this may be the place for you. Mine was an OK, basic, clean room. TV, but no pay-per-view. If you are driving, you need to watch closely because although the hotel has a Las Vegas Blvd address it is tucked behind some strip stores. Free continental breakfast was good, but not great (instant oatmeal, two types of cold cereal, juices, bagels, oranges, apples).
