Although i booked my stay via the travelodge website, I was still quite impressed. For those who think that nothing is close, obviously they were not travelling by car. There are huge shopping centers (With a Target, a Starbucks, a Verizon Wireless, etc) within 3 miles of this hotel. You are also close to the Fashion Valley mall which has a movie theater and several other stores and you're about 15 minutes (in traffic) from Pacific Beach. The room was very large (large enough for a travelling crate for a large dog.) The air conditioner worked great and I found no problems with the highway noise. It would be better if there were assigned spots for the rooms because a couple times I had to park far away but I never felt uncomfortable doing so. I didn't eat at the diners but they seem to offer an extensive menu and the internet connection was fine!

Would have liked to have some tv channels for a 4 and 6 year old. Kids tired after a day in the city and swimming in the pool. The shower needed some wall repair. Overall, it was a nice enough place to stay.

The room was comfortable, flat screen TV, restaurant(s) on site (great food), large heated pool and jacuzzi (great). Ease access to freeway. airport. and tourist attractions. Could use better water pressure in bathroom, but for the most part it was a very pleasant stay; very friendly people.

Room was clear and spacious. It was very convenient to the venue we were traveling to in Downtown San Diego. Desk Clerk was helpful for finding us a restaurant to get food. The on site restaurants had a private party going on the weekend we were there, so we drove down the street to a all night location. Great Stay for overnight

The accomodations were okay and the service was friendly. The trolley was available 1 mile away at the mall. We took advantage of the nice weather and walked to the trolley instead of taking the city bus from the hotel. microwave or fridge would be a great addition!
