Friendly staff who went out of their way to make our stay perfect. We asked for a balcony room on Bourbon Street, even though we knew it would be noisy. We enjoyed people-watching from our locations so much, that it was well worth the night sounds, and had no trouble sleeping. Location, location, location. No car necessary. We were situated in the heart of everything. The lobby was lovely, the room was spacious, and the pool area was both relaxing and luxurious.

Beginning with my greeting from Malcolm the door man through check out, this staff went above and beyond to make my stay as pleasant as possible. Malcolm's smile was infectious even in a down pour when Bourbon Street was flooding... The bed was super comfortable, the pool was perfect, the Jazz was phenomenal... Thank you Royal Sonesta and Malcolm for a great stay!

04/29/2012Overall, the room was tight and uncomfortable. i requested an umbrella and was almost threatened with its return. after all the money i spent, a ten dollar umbrella is not ...
overall, the room was tight and uncomfortable. I requested an umbrella and was almost threatened with its return. After all the money I spent, a ten dollar umbrella is not so serious. Of course I will return it..... I told the receptionist that I did not like my room and they offered to change it but never called me after that or was interested if I still wanted to change.....
