The lobby is beautiful and the location is good, that is it. The rooms are musty ,old , and out dated. My non smoking room was filled with smoke smell and my clothes smelled like I was smoking. The staff including front desk and security lack any sort of professionalism that you would expect in a "luxury" hotel. This hotel needs to retrain staff and update the rooms to gain any honest 4 or 5 star rating. On a scale of 1-5 I would give this hotel a 2. This is not a hotel for professionals or families, would be best suited for singles or people who just dont care. I am not sure where the good reviews are coming from but give up the Bourbon Street location and stay someplace else!

The staff was beyond rude from the moment we stepped up to check in. We got two trainees who, after forgetting to give me any room keys, proclaimed that I MUST have lost them. Very rude. Me: Do you have anything to drink here - Pool Bartender: NO!. Again, Rude. Jazz club service was horrible - waited over 30 minutes for someone to take our drink order and there was maybe a dozen customers there. Room is very small with a tiny window stuck in a randomly weird corner. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Other than that, the service was just plain awful and rude. The ONLY nice staff member was V, the luggage attendant. Super nice. This place absolutely does not care if they keep you happy or not. I will never again choose to spend my money (and it was quite a bit of it) at a place that has no concern for customer service.

A great hotel in the heart of The French Quarter. Beautiful, spacious rooms, great facilities. Being on Bourbon Street, there is a lot of activity late into the night...and early morning hours. Highly recommend the hotel and the service staff, especially the Concierge.

Beautifully, ornately decorated hotel right on Bourbon Street with the best jazz club and restaurants in New Orleans, bars, pool with bar too..rooms and amenities are a step above most, large flat screen tv, albeit, small rooms ...Paid for a king pool patio, wasnt given a room around the pool, but in the back, heard all the noise from the jazz club till 4am every night? but, didn't mind it one bit? was able to have breakfast on the patio every morning..walking through the french doors to a quiet private patio area. I thought this hotel and room services was pricey..compared to all the others; however, this hotel was more luxurious than all the others..down to the fleur de lis butter pats served with all the meals! They served the best gourmet breakfasts in New Orleans! this hotel has the best location, right amid all the action on Bourbon Street..they have the best jazz club in New Orleans, they rocked the house!
