From the moment I exited the Airport Shuttle at the Hotel, until it was time for me to depart, I was treated with such friendliness by the staff. THe hotel itself is beautiful and so convenient. I have been to New Orleans almost 50 times and this is the first time I stayed at the Royal Sonesta, but it won't be my last.

The Hotel appearance was breath taking. I really like the feeling I got upon arrival. It was very warm and genuinely friendly. I made it a point to let them know I was celebrating my husband's 50th Birthday. Everyone from the bell desk to the door keeper remembered who we were and recommended many splendid places to eat, entertainment and sights. It was truely a wonderful experience and would come back again. I probably would not get a room on Bourbon Street - but maybe the pool area.

I spent some time comparing hotels in the Bourbon St area. This hotel looked the best, based on ratings. The hotel met all my expectations and hopes. Elegant room -- clean and comfortable. The concierge was excellent for recommending places to eat.

Lobby Is Stunning...All of the staff were very helpful and pleasant...Room with Balcony was Perfect...Our next vacation cannot come soon enough...We will Definitely be returning year after year...Oh Yeah, Lobby Jazz Club (Irvin Mayfield's Jazz Play House) was Spectacular as well...

Hotel stay was enjoyable. There was a slight smell to the building, most likely from the amount of people there for the weekend. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The wireless internet was not free which is not acceptable anymore.
