    We went for a weekend getaway. parked our vehicle and were able to walk anywhere we wanted to go. nice room. great time.

    Bed was very comfy, best pillows ever! bathroom floor was very slippery, be careful. staff very nice. pool nice with bar\waitress. she was busy, but always came back. noisy ...

    bed was very comfy, best pillows ever! Bathroom floor was very slippery, be careful. Staff very nice. Pool nice with bar\waitress. She was busy, but always came back. Noisy on Burbon side, duh.. Old hotel so plumbing noisy too... Close to everything, great location. I'd go back..I would have liked to have known about the Friday night burlesque show upon check in.

    The hotel was great. Our balcony backed right up to the pool on the third floor. I highly reccommend requesting this. The rooms were immaculate. The staff was very accomodating and the restaurant "Desire" was terrific! The only problem that we had was the ceiling falling in the bathroom. It was due to a clogged A/C drain leaking on the ceiling. The staff moved quickly to get us to a new room and provided free breakfast at Desire and free drink coupons for our trouble. Overall awesome experience!!

    This was our very first trip to New Orleans. I loved staying at the royal sonesta. Positives...the room & hotel was very clean & comfortable with a friendly & helpful staff. We had a room with a balcony over looking bienville & it really added to the ambiance of our nola stay! The location was great...especially for a first timer! Negatives? The hoteis a bit pricey but besides that it was fab!

    This is a very nice hotel in the heart of the French Quarter on Borbon Street... very accessible to the river and FQ venues. The rooms are nice, staff is excellent. Heard a great jazz group in the downstairs lobby bar... nice casual food place attached. The only negative is that you WILL HEAR the music and partying from Bourbon Street in some of the rooms facing the street! The music stops at about 2am... if you need to get to sleep early, ask for a room facing the back or bring ear plugs! Hey... its Bourbon Street!
