Recently I and my daughter visited Philly to see Jake Bugg at the World Café. We stayed at the Sheraton, because it was within walking distance to the concert sight. The hotel was clean, quiet and near restaurants, ATM's, shops, convenient stores and Starbucks (two of them). Right across the street was a pizza/salad place that was open 7/24 and it was GOOD! The staff at the hotel was very friendly and extremely helpful as we needed to use mass transit to get to the historic area, South Street and the Philadelphia Art Museum. I would recommend this hotel.

I took the liberty shuttle from airport to hotel, very easy door to door shuttle. I stayed at hotel during my visit at Penn. The location is perfect short walk from anywhere on the campus or to subway/trolley station to get around Philly very easily. The hotel is nice and clean, beds are comfortable. The wifi connection both in room and business center is good. There is a nice bar and restaurant in hotel. And a great 24 hour pizza restaurant that delivers across the street. I will stay here again.

Although convenient to the various Universities and public transport I can not recommend this hotel due to it's overall inferior value for a Sheraton. Pros : - Location - Very comfortable beds and bedding - rather nice staff Cons: - Expensive Parking - 24 per day - no other reasonably nearby less expensive options - Smallish rooms - In need of renovation. Rust on the doorframe. Extremely small bathroom counter area. Scuffs on walls. Clean but slightly downtrodden -The In-house restaurant - no.... OMG just no. I have to comment on this. The only in-house restaurant is Asian and the hotel apparently draws a large Asian crowd. If you like absolutely traditional Asian food of the poorer Chinese variety than you will love this place. I ordered in-room breakfast - advertised as a "healthy" egg white vegetable omelet. What I received was a very heavily greased concoction filled with limp glistening vegetables that looked and smelled like sushi - hardly healthy and hardly appetizing. Fortunately there is an option to order room service from a restaurant across the street that provides food more suited to an American audience. I suggest that you use it.
Staff very helpful!10/31/2012
Convenient location. room was adequate, not very spacious but all you need. love the "green" program which gives you a voucher to use or can add to your reward points.

The front desk staff was courteous and helpful. The room was clean, however the sheets on the bed were like sand paper and the mattress hard. Thus, I did not have a good night sleep. The location of the hotel is great!
