  Hotel was too far away from anything. Desk staff were helpful in guiding us how to use the public transport system. Shuttle service from the airport was handy. Room was comfortable and clean. Next time would stay closer to tourist attractions.

  We chose this hotel as a good place to stay during an extended layover at LAX. Shuttles to and from the airport were frequent, free, and ran 24/7. The room was clean while a bit crowded with 2 queen sized beds. The bath was dated and had only a tub/shower combo behind a curtain. Not having a walk-in shower made it a bit awkard for my 90-year-old mother to take her shower (I should have requested a handicap room). We were staying only on Sunday evening. Both restaurants at the hotel were closed on Sunday for dinner so we ate at the bar. The bar menu offered a nice selection, but it wasn't a full dinner. My sister who lives in the area stopped by for a visit but was not allowed to park for free at the hotel. Even though she was visiting us who were registered guests and was only going to visit for a couple of hours, the hotel charged her $13 for parking for 2 hours.

  The Huevos Rancheros were outstanding. Hotel staff at check-in and check-out were very helpful. The room could use a fan to remove or disperse shower fog in the restroom. The ice machine did not work on level 6.
