Pros - Had a great view of the river and city from our room. The room itself was great, comfortable, spacey. My girlfriend and I loved the king size bed. It was hard for us to get out of bed in the morning because it was so comfortable! The staff was friendly and called to make sure our stay was going okay. Cons - Pool was average, expected better. Mini bar and room service prices were out of control. Had to pay around $15 dollars for internet. I really think their was something wrong with our shower head. The water kind of hurt when it came out. Also, parking was very expensive. Besides parking and the shower, The Sheraton is a classy place to stay in Chicago.

Wonderful hotel, service, room, etc. Took wife and 6yr old daughter. Arranged the American Girl package for daughter who was absolutely thrilled. Hotel was clean and all staff was terrific (front desk, bellmen, concierge, doormen...). Had breakfast at restaurant downstairs. Little pricey but great buffet, and daughter was FREE! (6 and under). Very good location (central to many things), but note that you will walk several blocks to most everything. Room was clean. Bed mattress/bedding soft and quite comfortable. HAD A GREAT TIME. Think you will enjoy this hotel as well. Loved Chicago!

Hotel was nice and clean, but the bed was horrible. It seemed to be a temperpetic that had never been turned. One side you felt like you were laying on the floor with your feet up in the air. The other side was not too bad. The hotel should add a bed flipping and rotation into their normal cleaning and operation. 4 dollar for a soda in the stocked bar in the room. You could atleast buy them for 2,75 in the gift store. Only TWO towels per room. So if your wife needs TWO(body and Hair) then you are out of luck. I guess I expected a little more for the price. 48 a night for parking. I will probably not stay there again.

Very comfortable rooms, great location, maintenance questionable
05/16/2009Pros -- loved the decor in the lobby and rooms. clean rooms, comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms, great big screen tv. ate at shula's steakhouse -- great food, wonderful service, reasonable prices ...
Pros -- Loved the decor in the lobby and rooms. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms, great big screen TV. Ate at Shula's Steakhouse -- great food, wonderful service, reasonable prices based on comparable restaurants. Free wireless internet access available one level down from the lobby. Great views of the river and skyscrapers. Access to riverwalk. Great location close to Michigan and the Loop. Cons -- Unresponsive housekeeping - we waited for over 12 hours for coffee refills. While rooms were nice, maintenance on our floor in general was poor. There was water soaking the carpet in the halll on our floor that was never cleaned up which appeared to be coming from a leak somewhere. Used room service trays sat outside room doors for days -- literally. Ice machine on floor was broken for our entire stay.
