The views from this hotel lobby were wonderful, although our room looked over a dirt lot. It was very easy to get around on the bus line and metro from this area. We found lots of great food nearby including a CPK that was just around the corner.

This is a true downtown Chicago hotel. Close to the boardwalk, the Sheraton is not huge but if you enjoy a quiet hotel, this is for you. The staff was very pleasant welcoming. Location is excellent and is walking distance to a variety of restaurants and activities. 900 N Michigan Ave where Bloomingdales is located is right next door, and Water Tower Place is just across Michigan Ave. The room was great as well. We felt as if it was a private residence. Everything was new and sparkling clean with cotton sheets. The bed was cozy, comfortable and packed with pillows. Parking is ~35 a night and I would recommend valet as it is a maze of hallways to reach the self-park area. If you are going to Chicago stay here you will not be disappointed.

Let me start with my complaints. Complaint one, the hotel charged me $100 for incidentals without saying a word, or showing me the very small sign that explains that I will be charged $100. Complaint two, I had an adjoining room and heard almost everything from next door. Now the good things. The bed and pillows were awesome for a hotel. The bathroom was a nice size and very clean, with a good shower head. The staff was very quick with bringing extra towels when I called, and also when I asked how far the restaurant we were eating at was the staff took the time to look it up online for me. I would stay here again, but I would request a non adjoining room. Also my view was nice if that is something you like.
