Luxury accommodation. Lots of stuff we never even used, such as 3 tv's and a phone next to the toilet. Loved the shower and bed though! Best sleep ever. My only complaint is that the suite is very dark. Many lamps are available but it seems like each has about a 7 watt bulb. Lots of space to move around, an office area too. Spectacular building and Gondola ride was terrific. Would go again.

07/18/2012Pleasant stay. some staff were extremely friendly however some were not very friendly. however, i love staying at the venetian and palazzo.

I was overall fairly happy with my stay at the Venetian. It is a beautiful hotel. There were a few things I wasn't happy with, though. We stayed there 5 nights and our room didn't get cleaned 2 of those days. Also, the main pool on the fourth floor was just disgusting! There was this film floating on top of the pool with big, white foamy blobs floating around near the edges of the pool. There was also TONS of hair in the pool. The lifeguard said it was sunscreen, but nonetheless it needed to be cleaned very badly!! It was absolutely disgusting. They need to do some serious revamping on the cleanliness of that pool! I also didn't like how you had to pay the $100 resort fee if you wanted wifi in your room and to be able to use the gym. That's just ridiculous! One more thing: on our last night there a huge party was going on down the hall from us. We called the front desk twice to complain and they said they would send security up. Well, if they did, it didn't do much good at all. I am almost positive that they didn't send anyone up. It was 3:30 in the morning, so it was a valid complaint. I would expect loud parties if I was staying at one of the cheaper hotels, but not the Venetian. They need to figure out how to keep those at bay.

My husband and I LOVED this hotel! The room was very beautiful and it overlooked the pool below so it had a great view of the strip and the pool on the 10th floor. Room service was excellent and staff was more than happy to give us anything we needed. When you called to the front desk, it was picked up immediatley and they answered all of our questions. We also had some large gifts we purchased while out at the shopping and we had them sent to the room so that we could continue shopping without lugging around all our stuff. It was right there waiting for us, organized and easily accessible for taking with us for checkout. Overall a great experience and we will be staying here again.
