When you check in to this beautiful hotel, you will be greeted with "can I have your ID and credit card". You not be welcomed at all. The hotel is very pretty, but do not stay there is you are used to service. It also took us 8 minutes to walk from the front desk to our room.

elgant rooms, liked the automatic shades that you can operate from the bed area, nice sheets. nice lighting, roomy bathroom and living area. nice tvs in the bedroom and living rooms. service for housekeeping stuff was quicker than projected by the desk staff. the hotel smelled clean and nice like the shampoos they provided. only the casino area smelled like cigarettes- not the lobby or any of the hallways. during the halloween weekend, people were bustling and the place was busy bec. they had new bars. the bouchon bakery served very good macaroons. fridge was packed with their drinks such that I couldn't use it to store any of my own stuff. watch out for the hotel fees of $ 20+/ night whether you use the gyms and internet or not. otherwise, their wifi was very efficient. I also got a little confused with the building layout and its connection to palazzo. Check out the $100 coupon pack that they offer in the package- most of the stuff are actually available at the Palazzo hotel, not really in Venetian so it was more cumbersome rather than convenient to go all the way there to avail of those. i would love to go back if they had good packages again.
