The check in staff were professional and accomodating. We were having a family reunion and it was arranged for us to all be on the same floor without issue. Being a holiday week end, the line was long and somewhat slow. As a travel agency customer, we received a discount book that was useful. The rooms were clean and updated. Maid service was decent. However, be sure to ask for a room on the quiet side of the hotel. There is an outdoor bar/club that blares their music till 3 a.m. You can hear this on the 11th floor! The lower the floor the louder it will be if you get stuck on that side. The beds were hard/firm which none of my party liked. However, if you like a firm bed, this will not be an issue. The Hash House a Go Go on the 2nd floor is moderately priced, but be sure to go hungry. The portions are LARGE and tasty! The Emperor's Buffet had a decent breakfast and was priced right. There is also a Mexican food restaurant and Chinese place we did not try. We saw the Matsuri show, which is a Japanese acrobatic/magic show. I recommend this for the kids. They pick a child to go onstage to help with the act and will take a photo. You can meet the performers aftwards and take pictures. Lastly, the hotel is on the far end of the strip - closer to the airport not downtown. Taxis are expensive and will take you out of the way for a steeper fare. The freeway is a faster route, but distance is farther. Therefore, ask your driver to NOT take the freeway to save a few dollars.

Just returned from a 5 night stay at the Imperial Palace Capri Tower. Saturday night was * Sunday through Wednesday was * a night. Thats * plus tax for a 5 night stay!!! And you think Im going to bitch about some stained carpeting? Come on people be fair to this hotel. If you have stayed here you have stayed here for price and location. At * a night seriously what is there to complain about?? I wanted the best location on the strip for the cheapest price. You certainly cannot have high expectations at * a night!! Be sure to take advantage of their spa special at the moment. I paid * for a 50 minute massage. Paying the * also entitled me to 3 days of spa/fitness passes. What a great deal. Parking is also free at the Imperial Palace. The location of the Imperial Palace is awesome. For years I stayed at the Luxor however for getting out and walking the strip the area in and around Imperial Palace cannot be beat. Right next door there are a couple of bars that sell Michelob bottled beer for *!!! As a regular travler to Vegas I always look to find the cheapest hotel in the Imperial Palace/Flamingo area and generally the cheapest place to stay is Imperial Palace. Imperial Palace Flamingo Bills Gaming Hotel all great cheaper places to stay at on the strip.

Reading negative reviews scared me a little but we have had two successful stays at the Imperial Palace in the past so we decided to try it again this time. We asked for and received quiet rooms away from pool and rock band noise. We loved our balcony with the sunrise view. We had a slow draining tub but that was our only complaint with our room. The room was clean service was good and we had excellent meals at some of the restaurants on site. The new Hash House was fun with a lot of interesting things on the menu. We love the Imperial Palace for its proximity to everything on the Strip and the ease of getting around the casino and parking garage. The atmosphere is fun and we felt very comfortable there. We will definitely stay again in the future!

  • Best hotel for the money and location!
