My business holds annual conventions in Vegas and I choose to stay at NYNY. Normally, this hotel has always met with my expectations, however this last trip I was unhappy with the cleanliness of the hotel common areas and of the room I stayed in. The staff and service were all very good and once I mentioned the housekeeping concerns, they were addressed at once.

This was our frist time in Las Vagas. We stayed at the New York New York, for our daughter's 21st birthday. It was a great place to be for her 21st birthday. The hotel staff was every nice, friendly and helpful. We had a great time and are looking forward to going back soon, and staying at the New York New York again. Our only set back was that one of our two rooms were not ready till 5 pm and not 3 pm. But other then that things were great had fun and a good time.

There was one that I was disappointed in. We arrived to the hotel at about 2am. We were reserved for 5 days in a King bed. We checked in and when we went into our room, it is a double bed. I called to the front desk and was then advised that they were out of King. Knowing that a customer is expecting to be in King, I should have been advised the King is not available. The following morning I was moved to a KIng. I just felt that they could have let me know that the King was not available up front when I checked in.

A very upbeat hotel -- rooms are clean, comfortable, and stylish. Tour and ticket service people are excellent! Food is a little pricey but that's Las Vegas. All ages welcome. It's too bad there's a mandatory resort fee for using the internet, business center, and getting a free newspaper daily -- we did not use the first 2 and did not receive a paper -- and it cost us over $80. All the hotels do it, though; it's a pure profit center for them. If the NYNY did away with it they'd be almost perfect.
