Good hotel, clean and comfortable. Lots of restaurant options in hotel. Resort fee of $18 a rip off though. Never saw the free newspaper and free internet is standard at most places now. Would have been nice to have a coffee maker in the room, but I guess the lack of coffee maker is a regular thing in Vegas hotel rooms. Overall clean and comfortable. If your room is near the roller coaster you do hear it and the screaming, but it closes by 11 pm and our room was very quiet after that.

Stayed at the NY NY Hotel during a recent visit to Las Vegas. Ehh, it was ok. I might be bias here as I normally stay at the Venetian. Once you experience thethat luxury, kind of hard to compare other hotels to them. Their food, room service included, was awful. American whatever near the front desk was an overpriced Denny's. I was with some people who had never been to Vegas and the cocktail waitresses in the casino were plain rude! One girl ordered a water and the cocktail waitress said "Sure. Would you like to tip me now or when I return?". I get it, that's how your earn your living, but that's the wrong way to go. The room was small and dingy. The room the front desk gave me was not ready so I had to go back and request another. She tells me that it's normally an upcharge cause of the view, and when I get up there it's a pathetic 'view'. Right above the east side of the roller coaster so you constantly hear the screams of the patrons on the ride. annoying. I won't be back to this hotel - I'll stay at one of my preferred spots.

Some of the furniture placement was not conducive to watching tv if you were in your room to relax between slot machines. Pillows were not comfortable but the bed was fine. The cleanliness of the floor in the bed area and bathroom need improving. A lot of outlying dust and remnants of other guests that stayed before us, e.g. lipstick cases under the desk. No coffee pot in the room; had to go downstairs to the casino. So no relaxing in your pajamas for the first cup of the morning. If you wanted to have breakfast at Il Fornaio, you had to be there and seated before 10:30. Chin Chin restaurant buffet too expensive for what you get. America restaurant was the best for breakfast. Servers were very nice.

Great hotel to stay at. Smooth check-in process, friendly staff, and good perks including Internet that comes with resort fee. Stayed at Spa Suite and it was perfect. Very nice and spacious room. Would definitely be going back to the next time in Vegas.
