This is the 2nd time I stayed at NY NY. It is a great hotel for the money. Great location, rooms are clean, adequate. Would be nice to have a coffee maker in the room. The Casino had 2 dealers that were fun, the rest acted like we were bothering them. We went to different casinos when the 2 fun dealers were packed. It's a shame we couldn't spend our money there.

The room was an awkward configuration and had only one sink. The facuets did not turn off and the bathroom had no fan. It may have been a room that had not been updated. The bed was the worst, probably a reject from another room. The quality was noticably lower than previous stays.

I'm not a fan of NewYork, the city. And will probably never visit the city. But this hotel gives you a very good view of what the city might be like. Only CLEAN! The hotel was built in 1997 but it is so well kept(lobby & rooms) I'd swear it was only a year or two old. I loved it and will be staying there on any future trips to Vegas. It's right in the heart of the strip so all you have to do is walk out front and your in the thick of it. The staff was freindly and helpful also. I even had to change rooms after one day as one of my co-workers showed up unexpectedly. The front desk staff changed my room quickly and with no question. Great selection of restraunts too. If you can't tell, I highly recommend the New York New York!

This was our second "girl's trip" (40+ but girls to us) to Vegas and our second stay at New York, New York. Our room this year was great. We stayed in a corner room that had a strip view from one window and a strip/Excaliber view from the other. The beds were wonderful! They were much better this year as last year they weren't all that comfortable so they must have upgraded. Although we didn't spend that much time in the room, it was a clean and comfortable retreat when we needed a rest.
