Prior to staying at NYNY, my girlfriend and I stayed at Bellagio for 3 nights. While we liked the Bellagio, NYNY was hands down our favorite. Our flight was cancelled due to weather, so we stayed another 3 nights in Vegas and choose NYNY. Bellagio was nice, but very pretentious. The hotel and staff have no character. We choose NYNY because it was the complete opposite. All the staff was fun, helpful and attentive. As for the rooms, they are standard fare. We stayed in a Park Avenue room overlooking the strip. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Was it as nice as Bellagio...no. Then again, how much time do you really plan on spending in the room? You're in Vegas to see the sights and shows, not sit in your hotel room. We ate at the italian restraunt and the food was very good. The deli they have there is outrageous. The sandwiches are huge and excellent tasting! We liked it so much we are heading back in a few weeks for my girlfriends birthday, and are also bringing along several co workers. For the prices and specials they have for this hotel, you are crazy not to book it.

This was my first trip to LV in about 20 years so I was looking forward to the trip. Sat at the bar next to check in, we were the only ones there and the bar tender made it clear that our presence was an inconvenience. After getting a $6 beer and a $4 Coke we sat talking looking around and the bartender tried to palm the money in front of me on the bar. Now nothing says welcome to NY-NY like a thief at the first place you sit down. In the street scene area located inside, the food was not only overpriced but had far less taste than the stuff spit out by a vending machine and the attitudes of the staff wasn't any better. After the initial dissapointment and shock coupled with hookers openly working the bars and casino floor I don't believe NY-NY will be on my must visit list any time soon.

I have many trade shows that I attend each year and I always stay at the New York New York hotel and casino. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I travel alone but never feel alone during my visits and while I am at your Hotel. The food at all the restaurants is wonderful and everyone is so helpful, happy and friendly. Your cleaning staff is superb, they do what ever it takes to make you feel welcome and are always smiling and happy. It must be a great place to work as well, no one can pretend all day long if they are not happy at their job. I have brought friends with me that are now staying at your hotel as well. You and your staff are number one in my book. See ya again soon I hope. Won a progressive slot at your casino on my last visit. Was congratulated by so many employees and fellow travelers. Keep up the great job and I will be back.

The hotel is a short drive from the airport. Pulling up to the hotel we were greeted by doorman who helped us to the front desk. Once checked in we went to our room and for the price we paid not bad at all. Big room, nice beds, lots of room for my clothes. The only thing i did noticed that i did not like from the room was the bathroom. The bathroom did not have a fan so it took a while for the bathroom to air out especially when someone took a shower the mirrors got super foggy. The hotel has places to chose from eating which was nice but we ate at the cafe for breakfast and it was not good and expensive. The hotel was also linked to the MGM which was very nice since we could go back and forth. I'm not a picky person so I was super happy with this hotel and would stay again.
