The moment we arrived, the staff we willing to do whatever we needed and initially upgraded our stay without promptng from us. They were able to accomodate my sister in a room right next to our even though we did not book rooms at the same time. That initial experience with the staff going above and beyond set the tone for the remainder of our trip. We had a wonderful time, enjoyed the restaurats located in the hotel, look forward to staying here when we return and would certainly recommend to a friend.

The NYNY Hotel was a very good bang for the buck. The check-in process was quick. They didn't have the room we had reserved online but they offered us a free upgrade with a view at no extra charge. Rooms were clean, stocked and comfortable. There were plenty of restaurants and places to gamble. You'd never have to leave the hotel if you didn't want to!

I loved how the hotel and casino mimic New York City streets, the restaurants were superb, and the roller coaster was a blast! Definitely the type of sensory overload you want and expect from Las Vegas! You don't even have to leave the hotel to have a great time! But if you DO want to go sightseeing, the hotel is within walking distance of popular Vegas points of interest. The room was very clean (and I considered myself a bit of a neat freak, so I think I tend to hold hotels to a pretty high standard), and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Up front, Las Vegas isnt' my first choice for a vacation, or my last for that matter. I was speaking at an industry convention there and was being paid to be there. That being said, I did really enjoy my time there and staying at NYNY was a big part of my enjoyment. Clean and overall very nice. You can't get away from the cigarette smoke in Las Vegas but NYNY was seemingly well enough ventilated that it was tolerable, even for me the wilderness guy.
