Stayed Sept 14 &15th. On the second night gangs of people came through the hall outside our room yelling and banging on doors, after that it seemed like somewhere you could hear a band rehearsing well into the night, or maybe it was a night club. We found the front desk area to be crowded and dark. I suppose they want you to feel like you really are in New York City, so I guess they succeed.

stayed here for my first time in vegas and it was awesome!!!! gettng to my room was a challenage and to my sisters room since she had to go to a different elevator, but it was clean and staff was awesome!!!! great place to stay and would recommend this place to my other friends and will stay here again!!!

I liked the hotel and we had a great time. It is not easy to get around via walking on the strip in some cases and the NY was one of those. Although easy to get to Excalibur and MGM Grand via the bridges, getting elsewhere was kind of confusing at times....but I think this is true for many of the places on the strip. The hotel itself was great. The Casino was good although if you are looking for the $5 tables, they are difficult to find there. Myself, I played on $10 tables and they were clean, comfortable, easy to get to and they kept them open pretty well. The night life is not great in the hotel in our opinion. The dueling piano bar is way to expensive to get into for what it is...in fact, I was pretty amazed at the price they charged to get a table ($25 for a seat? Come on...and you could look in there and see at least a dozen empty tables so we weren't the only ones). Coyote Ugly is WAY to small. We went in there, but being shoulder to shoulder in such a small room was not that great. All in all, I would say it was a great experience...but if and when we go back it wont be to NY/NY...not because it isn't great, it is just because it is not what we would prefer. Excalibur would be fun I think.

After red eye flight next to a guy with horrible halitosis, I arrived at the NYNY Hotel ready to knock out and get some shut eye! Unfortunately, it was 7 a.m. when I arrived, and early check-in was at 1 p.m. I was helped by a nice front desk staffer by Derek (or Derrick), and asked if there was a place in the hotel away from the casino where I could just take a nap. I think he felt bad for me and actually checked me in immediately, with a mere $20 charge and UPGRADED my room from the cheap Skyline room to a non-smoking Broadway room. Such a wonderful guy, check-in was a breeze though navigation through to the room was a bit of a maze. The Broadway room was pretty large, with a nice firm King size bed. Only complaint about the bed was the linens...they had a reaaally strong bleach smell...which means they were super clean. Hahahaha! This room came complete with a Samsung 37" LCD tv, the the usual shampoo, lotion, and soaps. Too bad no refrigerators in these rooms. Easy to get around to the other hotels from here, and late night pizza is always available if you've got the munchies. Check-out was simple as well. Just be careful because you will probably have to wait in line when checking out before 11. I'd definitely stay here again! Thanks again!

Excellent Hotel, good location and clean. Hotel did not smell of smoke which was a plus for us as we were travelling with our children. Pool was excellent and it was children friendly. We would stay at this hotel again.
