Overall, this hotel was a good value. The $18 resort fee is sort of a joke. It includes internet access, but who really stays in their room while in Vegas? The rooms were nice and one of the most comfortable mattresses I've ever slept in! Close to all the Vegas strip action. I realize they want to sell their coffee in the restaurants, but it would be nice if they had in-room coffee makers. I like coffee when I get up before leaving the room, so that was a con. I thought the restaurant prices were reasonable, despite other reviews...no worse than Orlando area attractions, near where I live. The pool was under construction, but the Monte Carlo and MGM let you use theirs. Even being in a room by the roller coaster, I did not hear it while in the room. Casino was decent, but the dealers were not very friendly. Coyote Ugly was fun, but was not a fan of a cover charge. Check-In was another con...there was a huge line of people wanting to check in, but only 2 or 3 people working...there were other staff milling around that you could see, but they did not seem to care that there was a huge line! There are some minor cons here, but overall, I was very happy with the price I paid and the experience. I would definitely stay here again on my next Vegas trip.

New York New York is located in a great place between all the hotels on the strip. It has great parking that is easy to get to and from. The customer service was excellent. The rooms are great. I recommend a room with a view. We loved the beds. they do have a resort fee though $18 a day. Some hotels do not have this and you get free internet, papers, pool, etc. there are tons of food options available! The Burger Bar is awesome. Food prices aren't bad except for steak house. We did not find it worth the $120 dollars for two steaks and one side. There is not a buffet here. It also is a great place for nightlife...as there are major bars/nightclubs inside including the Dueling Pianos. We saw the Zumanity show. It was fabulous. I would love to go again. We had a great time, check in and out was easy. no fee for parking.

04/27/2012The room size was slightly small. i disliked the size and avaiablity of the elevators, there was usually a long wait for one and they were often full.
