This was my first time staying at Hooters and I will NEVER stay there again, nor would I recommend it to anyone! We checked in at 3:00 found that our balcony door was off the track called the desk told them about the problem said they would take care of it. In the mean time we went and cruised the strip. When we returned a little after 9:00 the door was still not fixed! Called the desk again and then moments later a person came to look at it. It could not be fixed so we had to move rooms. The girl at the desk said we had to hurry otherwise they would charge us for 2 rooms! The employees were VERY RUDE. When I went to the manager about our issues he gave us $* credit?! Rather than maybe tickets to one of there shows or something. I felt insulted and that wasn't the first time! This was all in the first day we were there. Needless to say we stayed out of our room and the casino as much as possible because everyone there was so rude. They need to learn how to treat there customers! I wouldn't recommend them to anyone!!

I knew that for a low price, it wasn't the Bellagio, but as I have been in their restaurants before I was expecting a bit of a cleaner, higher quality service and the amenities up and running. The location is perfect, just off the strip across from the MGM grand... that's the up side. Basically safe but the rooms even when sold at non-smoking was not.. I was told the floor was.. ashtrays as you get off the elevator. Service was awful.. I travel and have stayed in all levels of rooms, service shouldn't change. They allowed smoking in the elevator, gave out coupons, which they advertise for a free drink in the evening by the pool... current promotion.. but the poolside bar is closed for the winter. When ask the front desk about another bottle of water, she picked up the phone then said to someone, "she has a question" and handed me the phone.... The room, although light and airy was in great need of repair. The lights flashed (shorted) the carpets had nasty stains, the bathroom was not left clean and the magazine left in the room was used..(use your imagination). When I went down stairs for the free breakfast buffet, poor to okay, not up to what you would expect at a Hooters restaurant, (it was done in another restaurant on site). The host, just looked at me, finished his conversation with another staff, shuffled some papers then ask, if I wanted to be seated.. then a business man came in, and he went with him.. left me still waiting... same service the next day.. I would say it is safe, but you must cross at the light to the MGM, if not the walk to the strip is a bit dangerous.

We would highly recommend stay there to any of our friends. It is close to other casinos where we might visit, it has a great dining area and nice tables to gamble on. The only thing we didn't like about it, is after midnight there is only one place to eat and they have 25 cents wings so the long line isn ridiculous.

If you're looking for value then this is your hotel. It is not perfect but the rooms are clean. Yes the hallway carpets are a little dirty and it's not a very big casino but if you don't plan to stay there all day and you want to walk the strip and do other stuff, then this is a great hotel because of the price. If you're looking for a high-end hotel that is newer then you'll probably want across the street and stay at the MGM. If you want to say about a lot of money and just walk across the street then stay at Hooters.

The front desk was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful We got out room quickly but the beds had sheets only and no blankets and bedspreads. We had reservations for 3 people in the room and it was set up with towels for 2 - even after asking for additional towels every day they never got it right - each morning I had to run down more towels for my 3rd person to shower. I did notice that there were some holes in our bathroom door and a odor in the hall way at times. Other than that the overall experience was good. I have stayed at that hotel before and had a good experience last time - clean, neat very nice for the price & location.
