02/03/2011We were close to everything. the rooms were spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. we especially enjoyed the pool area and waitresses. the live music especially fun.

We picked this hotel for our trip because it was the least expensive place near the heart of the strip. It's only about a block from MGM and 2 blocks from New York, New York. The rooms had a neat tropical theme, but other than that there was nothing special about them (good or bad). They were pretty much what I expected since I booked it specifically because it was the least expensive. Their casino is pretty small in comparison to some of their neighbors, but the waitresses and dealers in the classic orange uniforms make it stand out some. Some people might be wary of staying here because of the name, but I went with my parents and it was not awkward at all. Nothing over the top. Bottom line, it was a good value and location. I'd have no hesitation to stay there again.
