Wonderful room, especially for the price. Large, clean and comfortable. I paid so little for this room I was kind of worried I had accidentally rented their broom closet, but everything was perfect! If you are okay with a smaller casino, slightly of the beatten path, this is the place for you.

  • Decent place to flop for the night

The Good: the price, the speedy check-in (no lines!), the cleanliness of the room was "ok," the size of the room, the tropical/surfer dude decor is fun, the location in relationship to the strip (very short walk from MGM), it felt safe, and their check-out process was easy. The Bad: the air conditioning unit made a loud, hideous noise that kept me up at night. I slept AWFUL! The second day my husband immediately contacted the front desk, who, to make a long story short, never did anything to remedy the situation. We were never allowed to change rooms (they "said" they were booked to capacacity) and didn't see any evidence that they came in and tried to fix the unit (which they said they tried). They also refused to discount our stay. The other things that were obvious negatives were that the casino is tiny, dingy, and smells BAD, and you have to walk through the middle of it coming and going (with luggage in tow) and its very narrow. Lastly, the elevator smelled like v*mit. In summary, we will not stay there or at any H**ters Hotel again. I will pay the $10 a night to "upgrade" to Excalibur.

for only $20 on a Thursday night it's nearby the airport and convenient for that reason alone. I would never recommend this hotel for anyone going to Vegas to have a good time. It's a good value if you are only staying overnight and still want to be nearby the strip.
