I would definately stay again. The location was convenient to public transportation. Good value for the money. We did not dine at the hotel but the restaurants looked great. One down side was that there was no free wi-fi. The business center had very slow computers and I gave up on trying to use the web. Did not have time to use the pool or fitness facility but thwey looked nice, albeit small. This hotel was built before the fitness craze so it does not have all the amenities as newer hotels but it has more charm.

the original reservation indicated one king size bed for 2 guests, it turned out the 2 guests wanted separate beds and the staff in the check in counter had no problem upgrading them to 10th floor with 2 full size beds. for an old historical hotel it's very well maintained. we got good service and great overall hotel experience. we definitely want to come back to this hotel in the future.

Hardly the Biltmore of old! In the 30's and 40's ithe Academy Awards were often held (eight times) in this resplendent California faux Beaux Arts hotlel . It is still a truly magnificent piece of architecture and has been restored to its former elegance. And for those with business downtown a great location. But at what cost? No room service after 11p., noticeably understaffed, an empty but still magnificent swimming pool, belllmen that are hard to find, no gift shop, $* a night for parking,a business center that reuired a credit card, in short something less than a Comfort Inn masquerading as a grande dame or more accurately the Biltmlore Manque! I was surprise the TV didn't require coins. I didi love the room -- large, high ceilings, airy, ton s of light during daylight hours (but rather poorly lit at night) with wooden shutters for curtains. But as near as I could determine there was a single electrical outlet accessilble for plugging in my computer and that was too far away to use at the built-in desk. And if you did use it, then no outlet for your phone Would I stay again? Not unless the price was considerably below the all in $*+ I had to pay before tips (about the price of the Waldorf but sans its amenities). Also definitely not handicap friendly.

I have had the pleasure to stay in this treasured gem of Los Angeles several times, but the first time I have written a review. It had been a few years since my last vist and promise The Biltmore...Will be back very soon. Travelers...you will not be disappointed in your stay here...from the time they open your door from your car...too the final goodbye. You'll feel like royalty. Check in was easy and they were able to accommodate my early arrival. The incredible architecture of this buliding is just stunning. The service...Excellent. from the Bellman to room service to the maid service. All super friendly and very helpful. The Club Room we stayed in was very nice and very comfortable and at a super rate. If there was one thing that I would ask the hotel to have changed is the cost of the valet service for hotel guest. I think the $* is a bit to much for someone who is staying at your hotel. $* for guest and $* for non guest sounds more reasonable. Overall folks...The Biltmore is a must stay for travelers visting the great city of los angeles. We will be back! Respectfully...
