Hotel is fun, quaint, and unique place to stay. We stayed there several nights and were glad we stayed there. We would do it again. The elevators are really old which makes it fun, but over time the process of getting an elevator gets to be a little slow and they are kind of snug. Other than that, the rooftop view and the location is absolutely fantastic!

The ONLY complaint I would have is the street noise at night. Because there was an air conditioning unit in the window, it allowed for the street noise in the room, making it difficult at times to sleep. Everything else was excellent & the hotel was worth the $$$. I particularly liked the layout of the room. It had two double beds, that were separated by a wall. I was attending a conference & shared a room to save money. It was like having our own private room (with a shared bathroom). We each had a desk, TV, air conditioning unit & bed to ourselves. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for this kind of set up & close to everything in the Gas Lamp district. Bring earplugs!
