The elevator ride was scary. hotel is noisy and they make you sign a waiver so you won't ask for a refund and move to another hotel.

Very vintage (but renovated) classy hotel with an amazing staff...went for a bachelor party and it exceeded our expectations! The roof top is awesome and open until midnight which makes for an "outing" if its own! Bring an ice chest full of beverages! Perfect location if downtown and gaslamp are your destinations...

My wife and I loved going to this place. Loved the view from the top! Walking distance to everything. Bathrooms and elevators were small, but fun! Second oldest hotel in the district! But has been upgraded. :). It seemed like all of the downtown hotels have valet parking only. The $20 per day was reasonable compared to the other hotels.
