My husband and I celebrated our 23rd anniversary at this hotel and were given a complimentary room upgrade. The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful, It just made our overnight get away all the more better!! I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would love to go back and stay there again.

just about the sweetest hotel I've ever stayed in. About as quaint and friendly as a nice inn, but larger and a better location for city pleasures. I was traveling alone and having mobility issues, they were great getting me where I wanted to go in the morning. One nice employee suggested I plan my days so I start on top of a hill and work my way down, great suggestion for a person in a wheelchair visiting Seattle alone. One negative, was that nobody told me the only way to get a cab in Seattle is to call one. So get some numbers before you head out. I understand the public transportation is great, I just chose not to explore it for the few days I was there. The room was small, but more than adequate. It's nice that they have complimentary Tea and coffee in the room. The bar is friendly. They have afternoon tea, if you're lucky you can get a seat by the fire and they have better than adequate dining. All the other little things just make staying here special.

We enjoyed our stay greatly, all of the staff were wonderful. We were able to walk to nearby attractions with a good workout returning up the hill.The Sorrento is a timeless beauty with great attention to detail, it was like stepping back in time with modern conveniences.
