I came to Toronto for a professional convention, and instead of using the services of my association sought my own accomodations. This hotel has location that was convenient to the convention center (a nice, brisk, walk or brief taxi ride) and, while not ultra modern, instead had a gracious feel to it, reasonably well maintained. The price was modest compared with the convention offerings. Reminded me of days gone by, before everything was glass and chrome... I'd stay there again.

This was a great place for the price. it had a nice decor in a pleasant part of toronto. it was within walking distance of areas of interest.

Although the hotel is a little on the older side, the lobby and common areas have been updated and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

I have to admit that my experience has a bit been biased by the fact that I got upgraded to a suite on the 26th floor. I would extrapolate anyway to say that this is a great accommodation: professional service with a smile, a smart blend between classical and modern furniture, the coziest bed I ever slept in, luxury bath and body amenities from Molton Brown (it does make a difference!) including a "night mist" spray! Located a couple blocks from Toronto’s "time square", this would be a perfect stay for business and pleasure alike. It reminded me of Hotel Napoleon in Paris. Guess what, I found out that they are both of the same chain.

This hotel has a great location in downtown Toronto. The standard rooms are a little on the small side, but they are very clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel lobby and restaurant is extremely eye appealing, however the rooms were a little dated. They do charge a resort fee for the hotel that isn't included when you make your reservation.
