NYC FAMILY VACATION

The hotel was beautiful. Great location, friendly staff, comfortable rooms and comfortable beds. One small problem - when we checked in I was told I would have a room with a king bed and sleeper sofa. When I booked all this back in October 2009 I asked for 2 double beds since there was 4 people staying. I called hotel the Monday before checking in on 3/18 to reverify our accommodations, 2 double beds, and they said everything was a go. But when I checked in, they told me about the king bed and sleeper sofa. I spoke to the manager of reservations and explained all of this to him and he said he would try to accommodate our needs. He was supposed to call me and let me know, never did. I tried to call him twice while we were out and about NYC. He never answered his page. But when I went back about 7 pm we did have 2 beds. But it was very frustrating to have to go through all this. The hotel had several restaurants and we ate at one and it was very nice. Great food and friendly staff. Thank you.

The Marriott Marquis on Times Square is my favorite Marriott hotel. The hotel is located directly across Times Square and from our window we were able to see when customers would start to line up for 50% broadway shows. The Marriott Marquis is located in the central part of NYC. As per our other stays, the room was extremely clean and the employees were Wonderful.

The hotel and location was excellent. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is also wonderful..right in the heart of Times Square. Would definitely stay here again. Be sure to eat at Junior's right across the street - very reasonable and the cheesecake is delicious.

The hotel was very nice, large rooms, great location. No fridge, no wi-fi; everything costs extra. Steps from Times Square though. It's a very busy hotel. 1400 rooms and it seemed like all of them were occupied. Marquis Theatre is in the hotel, so if you see a show there it is convenient. The pillows were uncomfortable.
