    I haven't been to Disney since I was a little girl so when booking this I had no idea what I was doing. I booked this hotel after talking with friends and it was the best decision. We were right across from Downtown Disney which had tonsss of restaurants and shopping. Restaurants from a nice sandwich place for lunch/dinner to fantastic Italian dinner at Portobello. Best rice balls I have ever had. The shuttle that they had to Disney was always on time. They came ever half hour. There were two. One went to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. The other to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. The only downfall was having to take a cab/shuttle to Universal Studios. We did not rent a car so we only had to pay for the cab from the airport and Universal so overall not bad. I would highly suggest going to Disney in October. The weather was perfect and the longest line we waited on was 30 minutes.

    This is the perfect location if you are not staying at one of the Disney resorts. The staff was excellent and very helpful. The rooms were very clean. It is an older hotel and so the rooms need updating. They have updated the lobby but the rooms are just your typical hotel room. Carpeting, molding, bathrooms etc. need updating. The bed and the pillows were very comfortable.

    This hotel was a good place to stay especially for the location. It took 5 minutes to walk to downtown Disney where we ate a couple of nights. The shuttle runs every 30 minutes and uses the downtown Disney bus(no compartment for strollers and is a pain when the bus is loaded) to go to the parks. We enjoyed our room which was right next to the elevator. Remember when booking to spend a little more and get a tower room unless you don't mind staying in the part with the doors on the outside.

    we were given rooms over looking the loading dock. trucks would start unloading about 6 am. Also construction equipment starting up made for early wake ups. The room was old and in need of upgrading, the tile in the bathroom was badly stained,in need of replacement. wireless internet only work once in a while in the room had to lean against the widow or stand in the door way to get to work. Hotel staff said they were aware of the problem. The hotel staff was very friendly, The breakfast buffet was good $17.00. on days when characters come its $22.00. Food poolside was over priced and not worth the cost $7 for a hot dog and $10 for a burger, both had dry buns. nice pool area, great location for downtown disney.
