- From December 12-14, 2012 beginning at 7am each morning, the hotel will be removing a pathway near the gift shop that will be instrusive to guests.

We were pleasantly surprised with the room and surrounding property at this lovely hotel which is making a comeback as a resort. Some construction on the older rooms was taking place, but this did not bother us of affect our stay. The gift shop was nice and very reasonable, and we had a very nice time at the resort.

The location, service and physical care and cleanliness were all excellent. Please keep this affordable so we can return and spend money throughout Mission Bay and the city. We are originally from Southern California and will make this our new "home station" on all of our trips back. I believe this is one of the best bargains on the west coast and allows a family to have a "dream vacation". I intend to recommend the Bahia to anyone going to San Diego or nearby. You could not possibly be disappointed in the amenities, friendliness of the staff, location, price and overall quality of your stay.

My sister and I stayed at the Bahia in September 2010 and are coming back in April 2011. We enjoyed the pool, mega big hot tub and sandy beach at the hotel very much. The food at the Bahia Cafe was very tasty. There were many things to do close by like the ocean and Belmont Park. Sea World was a short drive away. We had a garden view last time which was quiet and beautiful. This time we are looking forward to a bay view Suite. I can't wait to see palm trees, lay out in the sun, go kayaking on the bay, visit the seals that live in their own pool at the hotel and to go for a cruise on the Bahia Belle, the resident sternwheeler. We are bringing a friend this time. I know she will love it too. See you soon Bahia.

My wife and I spent a weekend here in december and had a good time. We are easy to please and were not expecting anything to elegant, so cannot complain. The staff was nice and the location was great. There is alot to do around the area. It is obvious that the rooms are a little old, but everything was clean and neat. I look forward to going back in the summer to take advantage of all the water sports, and the free harbor cruise.
