My wife and I stayed here after staying at the Catamaran Resort a few years earlier because we loved the area. The Catamaran was pretty expensive so we decided to try the Bahia, which is owned by the same company. We got upgraded to a bigger room at no charge (I just asked for the best view that they have available), parking was free and easy, and the Bahia Belle cocktail cruise was fun. Our 4th floor room faced the bay and the balcony was a great place to sip coffee in the morning and wine at night. The room was very quiet and comfortable. The decor is nothing fancy, and the TV was an old fashioned CRT TV, but we weren't interested in those things. We spent most of our time walking along the beach walks (both on the bay side and ocean side). There are 10+ great restaurants in walking distance, bike rentals, kayak rentals, surf lessons, etc. Great location.

Everything about the Bahia was great except for one thing. We were on the fourth floor overlooking the parking lot and the banquet facility is on the fifth floor which made the room very noisy. There were 'events' both Friday and Saturday night which made it impossible to sleep until well after midnight. Also, each morning about 6 AM things were being moved around above our room, the staff at the desk was sympathetic. If you stay here make sure your room is as far away from the parking lot and the banquet facility as possible.
