Our room was dark and kind of dreary. Hotel has a concert venue attached and was noisy not only from that but all outside noises permeated the room. Front desk staff did not offer any info unless asked specific questions and then not particularly friendly. Nice location but don't think we would go back. Restaurant nice and food good for breakfast.

The location was good, but we had to change rooms upon checkin due to a leaky refrigerator. It didn't end there. List of maintenence calls included inoperaable television, blown fuse, and a plumbing back up. Ick. The staff was not accomodating. Staff also did not help us navigate our way to major attractions like Sea World. It felt like they couldn't be bothered with tourists.....

The room was very inviting and airy. The whole hotel staff was friendly and courtious. The hotel had a great chef for breakfast and dinner. Eating for either was a delight the dinning area over looked the bay boat parking. The hotel has a Hawaiian feel. The grounds were calming green, reds, yellows everywhere u looked. Walking distance from almost everything. I can't stop saying how great Humphreies Resort was for me.... I didn't mention the Sunday evening jazz bar!! Live music thx

My extended family of three generations booked rooms while in San Diego for my daughter's college graduation celebrations. We met for breakfast and dinner. View was beautiful. The waitstaff were wonderful. The front desk very helpful, friendly and polite. We enjoyed the concerts. We booked a delux junior suite and it was great! The hospitality was perfect. I can't say enough about the excellent service and attitude of the staff and service. Close to airport. Walk to water front parks and dining. Close to attractions.
