This resort was beautiful with a lagoon pool and a private pool for adults. They had many activities for adults and children. This resort also has a private beach with cabanas and chairs to relax in. We had a suite on the second floor overlooking the beach and pool area. The room was comfortable and very spacious. The only problem I had with this place was the check-in. We had to wait an hour and a half for our room to be finished, but they gave us complimentary breakfasts and this gave us a chance to explore the beautiful area of Fort Lauderdale. We did not get a chance to eat at this resort because we wanted to try other places in town. We highly recommend the Palm Grill at the Las Olas Riverfront. They have absolutely amazing prices and the food is fabulous.

Stayed here based on 4 star rating. Usually stay at Marriott Harbor Beach also rated 4 stars. Comparisan not even close. Had suite with outside entrance (like a motel). No wash cloths or face towels in 4 days. Resturant was terrible. Service poor. Called to ask for wash cloths and face towels and was only sent wash cloths. Was never told about outdoor entrance. To compare this place to the Marriott as both 4 stars is like comparing General Patton to Private Benjamin. Pay a little extra and go to the Marriott.

I choose this location as a place to relax for 3 days. It was perfect. The suites were large, clean and comfortable. Balcony area was everything you could want, pool area was always clean and relaxing. Although I did not travel with children, there seemed to be quite a lot for them to do. Dinner was very nice but lunch menu could be expanded a bit. The staff was a pleasure at all times. Very helpful, friendly and accomodating. Plan to return on a regular basis!

Stayed last year in the early fall. Beautiful Grounds and amenities. Great for families, something for everyone. Kids loved the main pool area, adults have a quiet pool. Very clean with attentive staff. No need to leave the grounds unless you want to, self contained and private. Worth the extra dollars. For an extended stay, you might need a car to dine off the property. The restaurant is very good but we wanted some variety too. Would go back and plan to.
