Couldn't be happier with our experience here. We came here to watch our Texas Rangers play the Padres, and would definitely stay here again. We had a great view of the marina on Mission Bay and were a mere steps from the hotel pool and bar/restaurant (loved the San Diego craft beers on tap!#. We were right across the street from a bus stop which got us to the trolley station in order to get downtown for the games #and kudos to the front desk clerk who filled me in on that travelling option--saved us on cab fare!). The staff was terrific; the aforementioned front desk clerk, the waitstaff at the restaurant, and the extremely nice clerk at the gift shop. Highly recommended!

We were in the older part so there were no nice viewer of the Bay at all. It was very difficult taking our own luggage up the stairs. They gave a hassle about simply giving you a towel for the beach. I had read that we would have to pay for parking but after getting there is seeing the whole set up i thought paying $18 a night for parking was reallyfor gwas reallyknew we would wThe whole parking really nuts. The soda michines were always empty. The fire works from sea world were the best part of the hotel stay.

The location of the hotel was great being off the bay. They offered various water sports such as pedel boating and wave running (for an additional charge). Friday and Saturday evenings they did a "kids movie night" by one of the pools our youngest (5yr) loved. The staff was very friendly and the landscaping made the area feel almost resort like. Sea World ended up being a 15min walk from the hotel so we ended up walking everyday to the water park. A FABULOUS restaurant to try is Phil's BBQ on Sports Arena Blvd . Awesome ribs and chicken and have allergy warnings noted for everything they serve. I would definitely book here again with my family but wouldn't recommend it for couples only.
