I booked this hotel because of its proximity to sea world and to the airport. it's fine, but nothing special, especially considering its price.

  • Good value for a decent price.

Like many people, I can sometimes get paralyzed reading the reviews for hotels, what with so many contradictory reviews based on single experiences. So here is my single experiece - For the price, I expected a basic, clean and comfortable room with standard amenities. That's exactly what I got. I was in the 800 building, with a Marina View, though it was what they called a Standard Room. The room was smallish, but very clean and had been updated within the last few years. Nice size LCD TV, comfortable bedding. Double sinks. Small fridge and microwave, which was very convenient. Window type AC unit, but it kept the room nice and cool. Staff was very friendly and check in/out was prompt and easy. We were missing our TV remote on the first day but they got us a new one immediately and apologized profusely for the inconvenience. The Manager even called later to make sure we had received it and asked if we needed anything else. There are really only two drawbackss, but they weren't deal-breakers for us. Here they are: 1) The walls (at least on the 800 building) were EXTREMELY thin. We could hear a lot of what our neighbors were doing, but for the most part, this was not a big issue because this is a more family-oriented hotel so there weren't a lot of party people making a lot of noise. 2) They do charge for parking, so you may want to ask up front if you can get a discount. Since we stayed for a week, they cut the cost in half. Overall, for the price, it was a nice experience. I was happy with it, having booked it with nothing but reviews (good and bad) to guide me. Oh, and it's literally right next to SeaWorld. So, if you plan on spending time there, you can't really get any closer. A nice stay at a nice hotel. It wasn't the Ritz, but at that price, I didn't expect it to be!

  • The hotel carpet in the room was very very dirty

After discussing the issue with hotel management nothing was offered. At one time, they were to give us upgrade to a clean room but we never heard anything back from them. Worst part of the trip for sure. Will not return to the place.

  • Wonderful location!

We enjoyed the view from our room, as well as the warm evening breezes.
