The hotel was very welcoming with very friendly staff. It almost felt like home. Even the service was amazing. It seemed like everyone went out of their way to provide complete satisfaction for the guests. The rooms were clean and the food was excellent too. We recommend this hotel to everyone who wants an amazing experience!

The renovation of the hotel can be seen the moment you enter through the modern decor but you are also reminded of it through out your experience with corners cut like faulty in-room air conditioning units, paper thin walls and ceilings, etc. We also had to wait a very long time when checking in, were unable to reserve spa services due to no open appointments, and were unable to visit any of the pools due to reservations at all of them for an event we were not informed of during check-in. In general we had a nice experience but would have enjoyed ourselves more without the few hiccups.

It's a total scene at the pool. And if you don't get up early to get a chair you are out of luck. You can't just leave your towel on a chair and come back when you want, they will give your chairs away if you don't come back within an hour. If you're into the whole scene thing at the pool and waiting forever to get any service then this is for you. The rooms and common areas are nice but it just gets so crazy there. Don't go on a holiday weekend, way too crowded. They never made up my room the first day but when i complained they did compensate me. I have since stayed at the Viceroy and it's much calmer and really lovely!!

I am a REAL Customer, not a Riviera Employee. The New & Extensive Remodel is well-executed. Every area has been planned out and presented in top-notch fashion. The Staff are All Excellent. The Concierge welcomed us for Our Anniversary Weekend, and made our stay very special. Palm Springs is a unique place, and the Riviera embodies the town's ambitious roots and its relaxed pace of today. We will never have to wonder which hotel to stay at again. Stay at the Riviera, and have the fun you expect to have.

The people, rooms and amenities were top notch at this trendy hotel. Decor is striking, lively and fun. The pool was delightful with great service. I was there for a conference, so I also made use of conference rooms, etc., which were even temperature throughout and the food service was well presented and tasty. I'd go back in a heartbeat, in fact, I've recommended it to a few friends traveling to Palm Springs.
