If I could give this a minus I would. The staff hearded you thru like a herd of cattle. Never once did I feel as if someone was actually listening to me. The room was dirty. There was a pile of dirt in every corner. We stayed 5 days and not once were our sheets changed or the toilet cleaned. All the maid did was pick up dirty towels, empty trash cans and make the bed. The food was decent but the price was high. $25.00 for breakfast for 2 and that is WITHOUT coffee or juice. The location is right in the middle of nowhere. Don't think your going to walk to another casino! One block in any direction and your in very un-safe territory. This place needs to learn that the customer IS important! I have been to Vegas more times than I can count and I have to say that this was the worst trip I have ever had! The gambling, lets just say that you could hear the machines squeak they were so tight! Internet was $11.99 a day. Really? Even Burger King has free internet!

In short..the room wasn't clean on our first day, thin walls, bed hurt my back (terribly), was told I'd be brought extra towels and wasn't, was called repeatedly by housekeeping whenever I had the do not disturb sign up and they couldn't clean my room (um, I have do not disturb up for a reason), was told the perks card would give me perks (it didn't), the channel changer didn't change the channels (half of the channels were ads for Vegas and the Stratosphere), hot tub was cold. OK now for the things that really bothered me: I was lied to two times today: 1) We went to the buffet at noon and were told it was $14.99 all day long! So, we showed up to eat at 3:55pm and low and behold after waiting in line it was after 4pm and the meal was $19.99! No big deal at first, but after telling 3 staff members about the incorrect information, I was offered no help nor apology. 2) Two days prior to New Years we called the concierge and asked specifically if we could go to the observation deck for free on New Years. "Oh yes, if you're staying here." So, we made plans to go up there ahead of time and watch the fireworks...until just now when we were told "No, it's $175 to $200" ... "The pool deck?" ...closed...anything other than the street? "Nope" (FYI for those that don't know, there is NO view from the hotel rooms). So fuming I talked to the manager at the reception desk and was told concierges are under different management, as are Buffett staff, nothing she can do, nothing anyone can do, no refund, unable to get to any deck without paying $175-200 (which they probably add more fees to, knowing them). Manager = no help at all. Asking questions of staff= getting lied to. Oh my god I am so sick of this place. There were good parts, the roller coaster staff are smart, funny and capable. I put all my faith in them (haha I'm sure they are different management too!) maybe I should tell the roller coaster staff how much I was lied to...maybe they would help me.

The hotel lacked in modern furniture and decor. It felt like a time warp to the seventies. The building as a whole was very nice. But the hotel rooms lacked considerably. Would I go back? I think that I would.
