My first time to Vegas was FANTASTIC, the Stratosphere was an excellent first time place, it's centrally located, very clean, modern, the staff was super friendly and the price could not be beat. A definite bang for your buck, in more ways than one.

This hotel is not on the strip as described on the website. The rooms are so small that the bathroom door can barely close without hitting the toilet. All the room decor is outdated and ugly. Even the t.v had poor quality sound and picture. The diner downstairs had horrible service and prices were ridiculous for the quality of food. I would never stay here or recommend to anyone.

I stayed at the Stratosphere because of the cost. It was an incredible price in combination with my airfare. The hotel itself is pretty impressive considering the price. I'd stay there again if only it didn't require a trip on a bus to get to the strip! My room was relatively large and Roxy restaurant was really good :) The casino... not so much
