fun and exciting place to stay

This is hotel was average. The rooms were clean, but need updating. The observation deck was nice, but you need to buy a $9/day resort charge to go to it or the hotel gym. The casino always seemed to have seats available for blackjack, and there was always a couple $5 tables open. It's too far away from the rest of the action, though. The cab ride to the strip (Bellagio, Caesar's, Venetian, etc.) averages about $12 one way. There's nothing in the area of the Stratosphere, so you need to take a cab for everything. In hindsight, even an extra $75 / night would be worth staying in the heart of the strip.

We enjoyed the newly remodeled room and the beautiful view of the desert mountains. The bed was very comfortable and seemed new. The Buffet was sort of disappointing so I probably wouldn't go back to that again.
