best thing i can say about the room is that the bed was super comfortable. room had a cell like window that overlooked the parking ramp. Television turned off when you turned off the lights. Remote worked about half the time and the channel selection was well below par. Internet service was extra, as was local phone service. Casino had good variety, but was much smokier than other places we went (Golden Nugget, Plaza, and others on Fremont St). We were in Vegas for a golf trip, so the casino wasn't a big deal, but no Golf Channel was a huge downer.

This hotel made me feel not welcomed
02/01/2012We were three days at the stratosphere, in the 2nd one, we found new peoples in our room in spite they looking our clothes and personal item, they used that!, ...
we were three days at the stratosphere, in the 2nd one, we found new peoples in our room in spite they looking our clothes and personal item, they used that!, took a shower using everything of our personal lotions, perfumes etc. the hotel did not gave us neither an apologise. J Chavarro

The only time we really spent in the room was for sleeping, and that had a big impact on my rating. My only complaint is no free internet and no fridge. Other than that, the room was comfortable and we loved the free tower access.

The hotel was nice however the casino was much smokier than many of the others. The hotel staff was great and the casino dealers were as well. I was disappointed however in the drink service in the casino. We hardly saw a waitress the whole time we were in the casino where as in other casinos the waitresses were there all the time making sure you were well taken care of. The top of the world restaurant was most excellent as far as food and service. My only complaint about the hotel in general is that it is so far from the strip. Not sure if I would stay there again simply because of location. Otherwise it was a good experience overall.
