If it wasn't for my stay at the Stratosphere, my friends would not have thought to view Las Vegas from 108 stories up. The view is amazing and the lounge is great, especially happy hour with 2 for 1 cocktails and appetizers, in addition to the live jazz. I heard Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" at least 10 times during my stay, but when it was performed by the live jazz singer as I was facing the neon strip, it's like I heard it for the first time. Needless to say, it was nice to be at the other end of the commotion, and because of that, I covered more ground.

This is my first stay at Stratosphere and I am quite satisfied with my experience. Since this hotel is one of the lowest price hotel on the strip, my expectations were not high to begin with. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean enough. Not sparkling clean but OK. The hotel is far from all the main attractions but my family rented a car so we had no problems getting around. We have been to Vegas many times so we know Stratosphere is not very convenient so we were all prepared to rent a car to get around. The resort fee includes our whole family to travel up to the observation tower as many times as we like so this is nice. Stratosphere is fine for someone who is not picky and has a car. For those who want the best hotel experience or want to walk everywhere, this is not the place.

The hotel has plenty to do. My only complaint was that the doors to the rooms slam shut. So when your asleep and people are coming back to the rooms, slam goes the door and woke us up many times.

when you walked down from the parking garage it smelt like sewer water was leaking inside the hotel it was so so dirty it should not even be aloud on this sight it is so trashy they don't clean the rooms with cleaning supply's they use water from sink and flick it then wipe it off toilets were loose smoke alarms went off three staff members gave us three different answers as to why had to go down 22 flights of stairs for what??? upgraded to new rooms they were a disaster paint all over the tub and my two room windows thick layer of dust on my curtains and closet door at night when door shut you could see lots of light all around the door it was bad stayed for a week we could not get them to vac our room once

The room was clean and larger than I expected. The buffet was awsome and a good price with the Aceplay card. The staff was friendly and greeted us with a warm smile. And the view from the observation deck was Absolutely Gorgeous. I will definitely stay at the Stratosphere Tower Hotel in the future.
