We stayed here for two nights, with children - they did a great job in that aspect - not many quality hotels in Vegas are very kid friendly. Room was sufficient, clean, and exactly what we expected. Hotel staff was courteous and helpful with questions about the area and hotel. Good experience

The hotel was okay - but I wouldn't stay here again. it's old, like most of the hotel/casinos that are affordable for those of us in the 99% category, but there were better values elsewhere when I was planning the trip - my daughter wanted to stay here because of the rides. The TV remote barely worked, unless you were standing right in front of the TV; the wake up call I placed for the morning we were leaving never happened; the alarm clock didn't work either - thank goodness for my daughter's cellphone alarm. And NO COFFEE POT IN THE ROOM - REALLY?? Isn't that against the law? The shower squealed the entire time the water was running - lots of problems, but as said - it's old. But if you get the chance, whether you stay here or not, do partake in the food/atmosphere and staff at the Top of The World Restaurant - IT IS THE BEST. The food was magnificant and it wasn't just a pretty plate of food - the steak was a very good portion; crab legs were numerous and the lobster tail my daughter got with her meal was "huge" - well worth the money and the view is awesome.

Never been to Las Vegas so I did not know how far out it wason the stip from the downtown area. You can't walk it but the bus service is good and at a good price. Plenty of cabs are also available. Walls are a little thin and you can hear what the people are talking about next door but overall, for the price, you can't go wrong. The view of the area from the top is trully exceptional and besides the view, the bar up there has a great happy hour where you can get 2 martinis for the price of one and appertizers at half price. Casino is good and offers $5.00 Black Jack tables. The Buffet restaurant offers a hard to beat dinner for just $20.00. If you are coming to Las Vegas and want to keep your non gambling expenses low then this hotel would be a good choice.
