Want to go to Vegas, not pay a fortune for your rooms, have CLEAN rooms and helpful staff, a decent place to eat and $* Margaritas? Bill's Gamblin' Hall and Saloon is your answer. GREAT location in the center of the Strip, between Flamingo and Ballys and across from Bellagio and Caesar's Palace. Paying slots and table games. Live entertainment including the best Elvis show on the Strip.

Our experience at Bill's has been a horrendous disappointment. One would think that being a member of the Harrah's family, Bill's would be a great place to stay. Unfortunately, this was not the case. While we knew that the property is older, we certainly did not expect that the toilet would run continuously and the bath tub would fill up ankle-deep while taking a shower. We also did not expect that the water running from the bathroom tap would smell like sewage. Both the service and food in the Victorian Room were awful. The eggs were cold and the steak was cooked at such a high temperature, it continued to cook while on the plate, going from medium to well done in three bites. No wonder we were never asked how everything was. One morning at breakfast we watched at least three different couples sit down and then get back up and leave since no one showed up to wait on them. The security is extremely lax. There is no security guard stationed at the elevators that go to the guest rooms. This was especially disconcerting since we were accosted by what appeared to be street people while walking through the casino one morning on the way to get a cup of coffee. Once again, no security was in sight. Another upsetting incident was losing power for about an hour one evening. No one at the front desk knew what was going on or when power might be restored. I was told that I would know the power had been restored when the lights came back on! It is truly astounding that there is no back-up generator to serve the entire property. Because of our experience at Bill's we will never stay at or gamble in any Harrah's property.

If you are trying to decide on where to stay on your next visit, let me tell you all that you would need to know before you book a room. I've frequently visted vegas with the last year. I've stayed at other well known hotels on the strip. I recently stayed at bills and this was the best experience I have had in vegas. From now on, I will continue to stay with them. I had a early flight to vegas. I thought I would have to wait to check in, (like the other hotels on the strip). I was surprised that I was able to be checked in immedialty. The rooms are in a great location within the hotel. The room was a little outdated, but it was ok. The room did have a nice tv and was very clean. The beds were very comfortable to sleep on, and the staff was great! It was the only hotel that I saw the staff wiping down the machines and chairs. I visted the other casinos and I did not see anyone keeping the machines clean. I was very pleased that bill's was looking out for their customers. The best value was the steak and eggs in the morning. It was well worth it. I am very particular in hotels, and when we booked our room. I was a little hesitant. I know how that this is the best place to stay on the strip. Great locaiton to everything, and well worth it. You should give them a try, you won't regret it.

Bills was excellent. I have stayed in Las Vegas many times and in various hotels and Bills worked out great for me. Super location. Clean room. Check in easy and quick and friendly. I manage a hotel in south central idaho vacation spot and I know the difference.

Had a Great Time at Bills and Location Was Great. Easy to Get to surrounding Hotels and Casinos. Bills is Small but very Friendly and Clean. The room was Nice and Clean and was comfortable considering there was Three of us in one room. The air conditioner was loud but I'm deaf in one ear so I slept with my good ear on pillow. Bed were comfortable. Big Elvis was a great show and I recommend it. We ate at the Victorian and Meal was good and reasonable. The Bellman was very helpful and answered all our inquires and beyond. Front Desk was a small problem, as not there fault but with travel agency. They said I had no reservation conformation which I had booked back in May on travel site. They told us to please wait an hour and they would see what they could do. Then when we did check in they said I had a smoking room when in May I reserved a Non Smoking room which they corrected but with a huff. On checkout Girl had a better attitude. The Casino is small but plenty of tables and room. Dealers were very friendly and helpful when playing a new game I or my family didn't quite understand.
