The hotel rooms were'nt big and the bathrooms pretty small. The decor was kind of old western, the rooms were very clean and the staff was very helpful. Comfy beds. Close to everything. Monorail loads next door at Bally's. Casino is very small but had good luck there.

Great location in the new section of The Strip, but it is not for families or light sleepers. rooms overlook major streets so you can here sirens and traffic noise. Also, not the best choice for people with kids. HOWEVER, if you are in Las Vegas to gamble and hit the various restaurants and are travelling without kids, it is a great location. Easy access to Caesar's Venetian, Bellagio, MGM, Rio, Paris, NY NY, Wynn and so forth. Also, easy access to bus stops where for $5 (I think) you can get an all day pass to go up and down The Strip, including Mandaly Bay. Bonus - take some time go to one of the gun ranges, rent a gun or two, buy some ammo and get in some trigger time. My room was neat, tidy and surprisingly large for a single occupancy.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in in Las Vegas and I've been to a lot. The hotel is older and smaller, but the rooms are bigger than a standard at the Mirage or Ceasars or Monte Carlo. The bed was very comfortable. My room even had a window that opened not that you'd want to in the summer heat. Oh, and the ac worked great, very efficient and quiet. The food in the Victorian room was good too, and a decent price.
