I lucked out finding a fantastic room at The Magnolia Hotel in downtown Denver. I have stayed at four different 4-5 Star Hotels in downtown Denver and I honestly liked The Magnolia the best. It is a much better price than some of the nearby 4-5 Star Hotels, it has a great location (off of 17th Street), it has free internet, a nice complimentary breakfast and the rooms are more like full suites. I definitely look forward to staying here again.

I travel quite a bit for work and have learned not to set high expectations for a first time visit to a hotel. Was I shocked when I got to my room! Considerably larger and more stylish then I had expected, especially considering the age of the building. The location itself was amazing, 1 block up from the 16th St. Mall. Very close to lots of restaurants and shops. I will stay there again when I return in 2 months. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. The only negative was having to pay for parking but it's expected in most downtown hotels now.

Check-in & check-out process was tedious & slow. Room & staff were very nice!! Wine HH was a plus!! When they say breakfast is over @ 10, it is over at 10 and not 1 minute later.... They were already taking everything away. We managed coffee and that was about it. Parking $26/ valet per night is a little steap but the staff is very accomidating.

The bed was so comfortable!! The only complaint I had was that the air conditioner was very noisy. It would wake me up so I then just turned it off so I could sleep. Besides that, it was a great stay.
