had no water pressure in the AM, it was an over night stop on the way to CA, the new rooms are much nicer and we had no problems on the way home, must have been a one time pressure problem. finally found a room with bed not made out of granite.

When we arrived late Wed. night, the room we were assigned smelled heavily of smoking. Having requested a non-smoking room, we went back to the front desk and were immediately given a new room. The new room had crumbs all over the floor, but a staff person was walking by and heard our disappointment. She immediately went to find a vacuum cleaner and quickly cleaned the entire carpet. The room was fresh and clean, with good air quality, and comfy beds. There are few amenities in the room but we didn't miss them, having brought our own. The towels were clean, plentiful, and fluffy. There were no towel bars in the bathroom tho, so it was tough to hang wet towels, bathing suits, and workout clothes. The restaurants were varied and reasonably priced. We enjoyed the 1/2 price pitchers of margaritas at the Garden Grille- (we were curious what the full price was!) This is a great place for families--there's lots for kids to do. I wish they had located the pool away from the parking lot, but with the high temps when we were there, I was grateful for clean, cool water. This is an older hotel and is somewhat showing its age, but for us it was in a good location and we totally enjoyed our visit. We also took advantage of a couple of day passes on the Deuce bus. Good deal!

I would recommend Circus Circus for a familiy vacation. There is a wonderful arcade and fun park for kids. Everything that you need is located on the premises so if you do not feel like venturing out on the Strip, just stay at Circus Circus

Hotel is not bad at all for the price, however, it is one of the shadiest hotels in Vegas with a very creepy crowd in the lobby. People sleeping on benches close to the casino, flocks of kids running around and there is very little about the Circus-Theme in this hotel. It is just a hotel, nothing to do with circus. Would have been a big issue to hire a clown to mix with the crowd and perform tricks?
