I read the reviews on Circus Circus before staying there and I was skeptical to say the least. But, while staying here we had no complaints about anything. The hotel was average, not high class, but not horribly bad. The room was clean, the staff were nice, we experienced no problems. The only issue I had was that we did pay to upgrade to a West Wing room as I heard these were newly renovated. When we arrived we were told we had a casino level room. I asked about the West Wing but the clerk said that the casino tower was nicer. I would have liked to have seen that for myself.

I was traveling for business, for a conference that was held in a hotel right across the street. While most people probably think of Las Vegas for adults, I realized there were a lot of families traveling with their children and visiting or staying at this hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The hotel was quiet (I stayed for the first week of September) where the rooms were, and bustling where the attractions inside the hotel were. A short walk to the curb at the front of the hotel brought you right to the strip where you could catch a bus which went up and down the strip... Great access. It's not "right in the middle" of the strip, but it's not inconveniently located either. 5-10 minutes on the bus will bring you to the main attractions such as the Bellagio, the Venetian, etc.
