    The room was in need of some repair. The paint was peeling off the walls and it appeared to be mold or something to that affect on the rim of the lampshades. And around the drain of the tub it was chiipping away (and it was a ceramic tub). The only thing I was disappointed about the view was there was only a 4x2 seperating each ones balcony. Everything was in driving distance. You definiately need a rental car in that area. It was away from the hustle and bustle. All in all it was a good hotel, and we will be back due to the location.

    This hotel was chosen for its location and of course price. While checking in, they required all guests to provide them with copies of all their personal documents like drivers license or passport and credit card they were going to use. Nothing like identity theft in action... They did not even have a shredder to dispose of the copies at check out. They will not accept corporate cards and threatened to call the police when I would not give them more personal identification items to copy. We had to pay with cash to avoid switching hotels late at night. Great customer service... making a group of high students move hotels late at night on a Sunday because they could not verify the corporate card in question. then to threaten kids with the police... It will make a great story later in life, but not at that point. I'm sure there are better places to stay along the beach that are familiar with the term customer service.

    Remodelation is needed, carpets and rooms doors are crying to be replaced . old as they can be. front desk and valet parking quick and friendly.

    Traveled to Ft. Lauderdale, found this hotel to be a great value for the price. It is a little older and could use some updating, but overall good. Was nice and clean, staff seemed to be very helpful. Did not rent a car, took the GO Shuttle from the airport for $13. It is $1/day for the safe which was nice to have in the room. There is a microwave and refrigerator in each room. The fitness center is nothing to get excited over. Did not go in the pool, but it appeared to be clean, spent most of our time next to the pool on the lounge chairs. Beware, the cabanas in the pictures cost $35 to rent and the lounge chairs on the beach $5, the lounge chairs by the pool are free. You can step right down a few stairs from the pool and be on private beach, it was great! There is plenty around the hotel. There is a McDonalds and Dunkin Donuts, as well as a grocery store right across the street. There are plenty of little bars and restaurants within walking distance. I recommend traveling in the middle of the week like we did. We got to the hotel on a Tuesday and left early Saturday morning. There didn't seem to be many people there Tuesday-Thursday, it seemed to be a lot busier by the pool by Friday.
