  A nice basic/simple hotel. Not very well known by a lot of people, as it isn't a chain of hotels. Staff everywhere were very friendly, courteous, and helpful. A few steps down from the pool area and you're right on the beach! Room was basic, but nice. The balconies on one side of the hotel face another building, but turn your chair left and there's a beautiful beach view. Would definitely stay here again!

  I really enjoyed staying at the hotel. I was worried about it after reading some negative reviews, but I was definitely satisfied. The hotel was clean, great/helpful service, nice pool area and outdoor bar, nice rooms, awesome location on the beach...overall everything was very nice. I would stay here again.

  This was our 4th time staying at Ocean Sky. We would not stay anywhere else in Ft Lauderdale. For the money it cant be beat. We love it. We go to Ft Lauderdale for sunshine and beach. This place has a beautiful pool deck, and the beach is great, low waves, clear water. This hotel is in need of updates, and they are improving. The only thing I have negative is the "valet" parking. If you have a car they charge 10 bucks a day to park your car. If you use the valets , they park your car right there, and keep your keys, if you self park, you park across the street in another lot. Other than that, I can't complain. We did have trouble with the hot water in our room, and they immediately moved us to another, no problem.

  THE HOTEL IS CONVIENT TO EVERYTHING BEACH SHOPS BARS RESTAURANTS PIER ETC.. THE DAY TIME CONCIERGE IS THE BEST ! ROOMS ARE DECENT SIZE CARPETS NEED TO BE REPLACED AND THEY WERE STARTING TO REPLACE WHEN I WAS THERE.
